Name your device. We look up (or build) its register map, find the comms settings, and read it live off your wire — in your browser, no install. Each value is real; we say plainly what's proven and what still needs a known reading to confirm.
Brand + model — e.g. “ABB M1M 96”, “Eastron SDM630”, “ICP DAS M-7002”. We look it up in the library, or fetch its datasheet and build the map if we don't have it.
Plug in your Prelude board (or a USB↔RS-485 adapter), then:
not connectedLists the Prelude board and known USB-serial chips (FTDI, CH340, CP210x, Prolific) — not Bluetooth or debug ports. If yours isn't there, use “Show all ports”.
New Prelude board, or need to update it? Flash the firmware first → (opens in a new tab — won't interrupt a read in progress)
We'll try the documented settings first, then sweep if needed.
