Generating a connector from a manual is a commodity step — a prompt anyone can run, including us. What you pay for is proof, so the deal is priced like proof: if your connector doesn't verify on your device, you don't pay.

Every verified register map, human-readable, with its earned trust rung and that rung's honest claim. The upload pipeline (structure + network verification) is free too, within daily limits.

Hardware verification — $149 per device

Run our probe against your real device with your attested readings. Every point must agree — partial attestation never promotes. Pass: your connector is hardware-verified, yours to keep, and (with your consent) the anonymized device facts strengthen the library for everyone. Fail because our map is wrong: full refund, and the failure is recorded publicly — we eat our own discipline.

Same guarantee, plus one of us on a call while you wire it: dongle settings, unit IDs, RS-485 craft, and the attestation walk-through. For first-timers and the devices whose documentation didn't survive verification.

The guarantee, precisely

What triggers a refund: the verification run shows our connector decoding your device incorrectly (word order, scaling, addressing) — the wire is the arbiter, and the run's recorded artifacts are the adjudication. No forms, no argument.
What doesn't: a device that can't be reached at all (wiring, baud, unit ID — the probe tells you which, specifically, and we help you fix it; the demarcation is in the diagnostic, not our say-so). You can re-run when the wire is sorted.
What we never do: promote a connector on partial evidence. Every point attested, or no badge — even when that costs us the sale.

Where the money goes

$10 of every paid verification funds trades mental-health organizations and community workshops (men's sheds), and we're a Pledge 1% company. Receipts published quarterly — the never-claim-more-than-you-proved rule applies to giving too.

Upload terms, in plain words

Upload only documents you have the right to share.
We retain uploaded documents (in a capped store) so a human can review the extraction against the source — that review is how maps earn publication.
Extracted device-behavior facts (register addresses, types, scales) may be published to the library after review, under a contribution license that lets us maintain and license the aggregated library. Facts about devices — never anything about you, your customers, or your network.
Nothing you upload is auto-published: submissions sit in a review queue first.
