Delta DPH UPS Modbus card

Register map(s) for this device, with a note of how far each has been checked. Addresses are 0-based, as on the wire. Scale and byte order are confirmed only at the hardware-verified rung.

coherence-checked

Round-trips through a real Modbus stack with no overlapping addresses and a word-order-sensitive codec — the map is internally coherent and wire-decodable. Does NOT prove byte-order or scaling match a real device: the emulator is seeded from the map's own types, so a uniformly wrong byte-order still round-trips. Only hardware-verified confirms byte-order/scale on the wire.

field reports — community-sourced, unverified (checked 2026-06-11)
  • There is a major register map conflict between the older 'MODBUS Communication Card' and the newer 'Mini MODBUS Card'. For example, register 0x0421 represents 'Input Voltage 1' on the older card but 'Seconds on Battery' on the newer card, and 0x0431 represents 'Output Number Lines' on the older card but 'Input Frequency 1' on the newer card. • confirmed: comms defaults (baud rates 2400-19200, RTU framing, DIP switches SWZ2/SWZ3) — confirmed by Delta Mini MODBUS Card User Manual [1.2.1]
  • confirmed: identification registers (firmware 0x050E, model 0x0507) — confirmed by Delta Mini MODBUS Card User Manual
  • confirmed: physical terminals (Pin 1: D+, Pin 2: D-, Pin 3: GND for RS-485; Pin 4: TxD, Pin 5: RxD, Pin 6: GND for RS-232) — confirmed by Delta Mini MODBUS Card User Manual
  • confirmed: termination switch (SWZ3-7) — confirmed by Delta Mini MODBUS Card User Manual
  • confirmed: sentinel value (0xFFFF for unsupported addresses) — confirmed by Delta UPS Modbus TCP General Info & Configuration (Version 02.13) and Delta UPS Modbus Definition (v02.09)
  • confirmed: register map (rating_input_voltage @ 1025, input_frequency_1 @ 1073, output_voltage_1 @ 1093, etc.) — confirmed by Delta UPS Modbus TCP User Manual and Delta UPS Modbus Definition (v02.09)

The trust ladder

Each rung states what it proved and what it did not. Gray until proven; green is earned by hardware only.

Device not here? Upload its manual and get a checked map back. It's free.

Want it confirmed against your own device? Order hardware verification. If it doesn't check out, you don't pay.
